Overview: Jason Brickman yields for no one and even after spending years in prison his goals are still crystal clear for him. But from the moment the audience finds out that Brickman will be released the barriers that stand in his way steadily get stronger and more complex. That fact that Brickman is connected with bikers and ex-military men means that the two – in some ways similar – cultures will be a strong element of this story. The characters are tough, no-nonsense, and they aren’t ever going to back down. The stakes are fairly clear in this narrative – lives are clearly on the line – but the grudge match is riddled with more than just Lyle’s death and the history between Brix and Matt slowly but surely comes to light. The biggest issues in this screenplay, however, are the structure, characterization, and plot development.
